Detailed Itinerary
Arrival – Haridwar – Barkot
Arrival in Haridwar, in morning have blessings to start your journey for Chardham (Four Abodes of God). Proceed to Barkot via Dehradun & Mussoorie. En route visit Kempty Falls. Upon arrival check in to the hotel, rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Barkot.
Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (42 km drive + 5 km trek each side)
Morning leave for Janki Chatti via Hanuman Chatti & Phool Chatti. On arrival, start the 6 km trek to Yamunotri. Holy dip in Garam Kund, then pooja and darshan of Shree Yamunotri Ji. Afterwards trek back to Janki Chatti, meet your driver and drive back to Barkot. Overnight stay at hotel.
Barkot – Uttarkashi (100 km / 4 hrs, 1158 mts)
Late morning drive to Uttarkashi. Visit Vishwanath Temple before you check in to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.
Uttarkashi – Gangnani – Gangotri – Harsil – Uttarkashi (120 km round trip / 5 hrs)
With packed breakfast, leave early for Gangotri. Offer prayers and pooja darshan, then drive back to Uttarkashi, en route visiting Gangnani & Harsil. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
Uttarkashi – Guptkashi – Rampur/Sitapur (290 km / 8–9 hrs)
Leave very early with packed breakfast for a long drive to Sitapur via Guptkashi. Overnight stay at hotel in Sitapur/Guptkashi.
Rampur/Sitapur – Gaurikund – Kedarnath
Morning drive to Sonprayag–Gaurikund (3 km, one way). From Gaurikund begin the trek ahead. On arrival at Kedarnath, freshen up, perform pooja and darshan at Shri Kedarnath Ji, then return for overnight stay at the Sitapur hotel.
Kedarnath – Sitapur (20 km trek)
After breakfast, check out and begin the 20 km trek down via Sonprayag–Rampur to Sitapur. On arrival, check in to hotel; evening dinner and overnight stay.
Sitapur – Pandukeshwar / Govind Ghat / Badrinath (220 km / 7–8 hrs)
Morning, proceed to Badrinath via Joshimath & Pandukeshwar (Narsimha Temple, Sankaracharya Math). Evening darshan and pooja at Badrinath Temple. Overnight stay at Badrinath.
Badrinath – Joshimath – Rudraprayag (165 km / 5–6 hrs)
Early morning, pilgrims bathe in the Tapt Kund before darshan of Badrivishal. Brahma Kapal is significant for pind-daan of ancestors. Other sights include Mana village, Vyas Gufa, Mata Murti, Charan Paduka, Bhim Kund and the source of the Saraswati River. Proceed to Rudraprayag for overnight stay.
Rudraprayag – Devprayag – Rishikesh – Haridwar Drop (140 km / 5 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Haridwar en route visiting Devprayag and Rishikesh (Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Gita Mandir). Drop at Haridwar Railway Station.
