Arrival at Kathgodam – Transfer to Kausani
Welcome to Devbhoomi Uttarakhand! Our representative will meet you at the Kathgodam Railway Station or Delhi (if chosen). Begin your scenic drive towards the peaceful hill station of Kausani, journeying through lush pine forests and passing by the town of Almora. Upon arrival, check in to your premium hotel. Spend the evening relaxing and witnessing the magical sunset over the majestic Himalayan peaks. Dinner and overnight stay in Kausani.
Kausani Local Sightseeing
Wake up early to catch the spellbinding sunrise over the 300-km wide span of Himalayan peaks like Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Panchachuli. After a hearty breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing. Visit the Anasakti Ashram (where Mahatma Gandhi stayed and called Kausani the "Switzerland of India"), explore the sprawling Kausani Tea Estates, and pay respects at the ancient Baijnath Temple located on the banks of the Gomti River. Return to the hotel for a cozy dinner and overnight stay.
Excursion to Ranikhet (Drive approx. 2 hrs one way)
After breakfast, set off for a beautiful day trip to Ranikhet, the "Queen's Meadow". Known for its serene atmosphere and thick forests, Ranikhet is maintained by the Indian Army. Visit the famous Jhula Devi Temple, explore the lush orchards at Chaubatia Gardens, and take a stroll around the picturesque KRC Golf Course. Drive back to Kausani in the late afternoon.
